Hanna Mermaid

Hi i'm back again to show you another sneak of one of the new releases from Hanna Stamps. Not long now and these fabulous sets and cute Riley's will be available to buy tomorrow 11pm EST. I'm excited to say that Bunny Zoe's crafts will be stocking all the new Hanna stamps.

Isn't Hanna just gorgeous as a Mermaid? Again my image is coloured with a mixture of copic sketch markers and Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend. Lots of sparkle on my card again today and I have washed over Hanna's tail and the rock face in Sakura stardust. Adding more stickles too. You can see the sparkles better in the below tilted close-up. I just love the colours of these K&Co Brenda Walton Specialty papers and again lots more sparkle. The buttons are from Fiesta and Citrus splash button collections which you can find over in my store.

Do you like Hanna's crown? This was a charm and my hubbie managed to detached the loop and then I filed it down. Great team work ;-) I can't wait until tomorrow as I have a great selection of charms arriving for the store too :-) I'll be sure to come back and show you some pics tomorrow.

Have a great evening and see you again tomorrow.

Hugs,

Lots and Lots of Polka Dots....

This weeks High Hopes challenge challenge is brought to us by the wonderfully talented Crissy. She would like us all to use Lots and Lots of Polka Dots!! You can use dotted papers, dots on your images, use your circle punches to make dots, even your embossing folders! Just make sure you've got some polka dots on your creations!!

My new MME Bloom and Grow were just perfect for this challenge. As well as having a few dotty designs, I love the fact that some of the papers in this pack are embossed too for some added texture.

This cute fella is called sweet little thing and I have used sentiment Cuppy Cake. My little bug friend and his huge cupcake is stamped in Memento and coloured in Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend. I added some Sakura stardust to my frosting for a subtle sparkle. I do this by applying it to an acrylic block then sweeping off the stardust with a damp brush. I then added a little stickles to the candle and sweeties. You can see the shimmer better in the angled picture below.

I stamped my sentiment in Versafine as I prefer this ink for a more crisper finish. Once dry I then used my SU Word window punch to cut out the sentiment. Other punches used: SU Ticket corner punch and Horizontal slot punch (thanks Jakki x). The ribbon and flower brads were from my stash and the little brads in the corners are also SU.

Before I go I would also like to say hi to our super talented new guests Sirpa and Danielle. Be sure to check out the teams fabulous creations this week.

Have a great Sunday and i'll be back again later today with sneaky peak at a new Hanna set.

Christmas in July....

Over at SCS Kerry is running a challenge in the Hanna Stamps forum with the theme of Christmas in July. I don't have any Hanna Christmas stamps so thought I would improvise using this cute Ballet Sophie G moose stamp. I was thinking along the lines of The Nutcraker for this one! Don't forget that these cute stamps are 10% off this weekend at Bunny Zoe's Crafts.

Sophie G is stamped in Memento ink and coloured with Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend. I have used my new Martha Stewart snowflake punch which as well as punching gives a pretty embossed effect. I'm not sure who the papers are by as I've had them for a while now. I added a little stickles to the edge of Sophie G's dress and some clear dew drops for some snowy fun. The snowflakes and ribbon from my stash.

Hope your having a great evening and to my US friends "Happy 4th of July"

Hugs,

Hanna weekend special!!

To celebrate my new DT post with Hanna Stamps and also the gorgeous weather we are having here in the UK all Hanna sets and Riley/Sophie G are 10% off this weekend at Bunny Zoe's crafts!!!

Dont' forget to grab your MME paper packs too as they are selling fast!

Awesome Game Riley!

Back again today to show you this cute Retro Tennis Riley. So what do we mean by retro Hanna & Riley??? During the summer months Hanna Stamps are having a retro summer. Retro summer will consist of Hanna Stamps regular released sets, and bringing back one of the old released sets into the mix. This will give the newer customer's a chance to see the old sets in a new light, and then give the customer's that already bought the sets a new way of using them. You don't have to wait until Monday for this cutie and Tennis Riley is available to buy now at Bunny Zoe's crafts. What I love about Riley is that he makes those hard to make man cards so easy!

Riley is stamped in Memento ink and coloured with Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend. My papers used are Basic Grey Boxer and I added co-ordinating buttons from my stash. The letters are stickers which were sent to me from my friend Agnes. Thank you again Agnes! I couldn't resist using more Jute again as it reminded me of a net or strings on Rileys racket. The sentiment is from the Pink Cat Studio set Sporty Billy. I have used a great sketch designed by Claudia over at Friday Sketchers. Thanks Claudia and your sketch was fun to work with!

Don't forget to check back at yesterdays post to follow the links to the rest of the Hanna team.

Have a great Saturday and see you tomorrow with another sneak and the High Hopes Sunday challenge.

I love Riley :-)

Ok.... I can now scream my news out loud... Yay.. I have joined the fabulous Hanna stamps design team!!! Thank you so much Kristi and Vicki for this wonderful opportunity.

Well so I am here today joining in with the sneak peaks for Monday's new releases. Also on Monday the girls will be having a party over at SCS at 9-11pm EST.

On my card today I have used the new stamp Ice cream Riley. This sweet little guy will be available to buy on Tuesday from Bunny Zoe's Crafts. Riley is stamped in Memento ink and has been coloured with Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend. The papers are one of my favourites at the moment and are from the DCWV stack Nana's kitchen. I added some stickles sparkle to Riley's Ice cream as the dp was sparkly too. I cut Riley out using oval nestabilities. I then added an oval scalloped nestie behind but tilted it slightly... just to be different ;-)

For some fun texture I added some apple green jute and lots of yummy pink and cappucino buttons. My sentiment stamp is from an Inkadinkado clear stamp set by Brenda Walton. I won this recently in Karen's blog candy. Thanks so much Karen! The Sweet Friend sentiment was stamped in SU Close to Cocoa.

I hope you like my sneak peak and be sure to catch up with me again soon as I will have more samples to show you tomorrow through to Monday :-) I can't wait to see what the rest of the team have created. Here are the links for you to come and check out too :-)

I don't do mornings!

There is a great sketch this week over at Friday sketchers which I have used for my card today. Thanks Carole! The adorable image is Bunny Slippers by Paper Pretties. If you are new to these cute stamps I have a great selection over in my store.

The sentiment also comes with the image and I have stamped this onto my dp using Versafine Onyx Black and used the SU Spiral punch on the edging. My image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, then coloured with a mixture of copic sketch markers and Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend.

The fab new papers are by My Mind's Eye - Wild-Asparagus. These papers are a UK and European exclusive! The flowers are Prima Hydrangea and I added SU Rhinestone brads to the centres. To finish I added tiny buttons from the Victorian collection to the corners.

Hope you are all keeping cool and today is going to be our hottest day this year.

See you tomorrow when I have some exciting news to share with you ;-)

I do love my rubber but also love the instant gratification of digi image. No waiting for the postie!

My image is coloured with a mixture of Copic sketch markers and Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend. I have glammed up frogalicious with some stickles sparkle on her bikini and also some little gems for her sparkly toe nails. The main background paper is by Prima Marketing and is called My Mommy and Me. The extra bits of dp were from my scrap draw. I used my SU Corner rounder on all of the edges. I also used this on my dp before using my SU Photo corner punch too. To finished I added the bloom, bright button and fuchsia waxed cotton.

Two of a kind

Our challenge over a A Spoon Full of Sugar today is Weddings. I used this sweet wedding couple by Scrapmagasinet. The gorgeous lace and flowers were sent to me from dear Tina. The charms were also a gift some time ago from my good friend Heidi. The paper is Basic Grey. I am not sure from what collection as it was loose in my drawer. The sentiment is part of the Pink Cat set Lily and Billy sweethearts. I used the word window punch to cut out the sentiment. All edges have been chalked with VersaMagic Jumbo java. My couple have been coloured with Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend. I added a little stickles to the roses in her bouquet. To finish I added some half pearls to decorate and a small gem for her earring.

Our sponsor this week is me :-) Bunny Zoe's crafts!! The lucky winner will win the below cute Bildmalarna Mimo Fishing stamp and a variety of buttons. I have a great range of Bildmalarna stamps and as well as Mimo and Mimosa I am expecting arrivals of Tossa & Tosse and Frolle Frogs.... hopefully today! Be sure to check out these cute swedish stamps!

Our wonderful guest this week is Anita. Anita's card is breathtaking. Be sure to visit her at her blog.

High Hopes Challenge - Use up your scraps!

This week's challenge over at the High Hopes blog is brought to us by the super talented Jeanne. Jeanne is asking us to Use Up Your Scraps!! We all have them....piles full, drawers full, buckets full! Pull out some leftover cardstock, patterned paper, an already stamped or coloured image and make something from it instead of pulling out some new stuff. Let's use it up!

The papers used on my card today are scraps left over from cards made earlier in the month and are a mixture of MME Magnolia and DCWV Citrus. The cute buggy stamp is High Hopes Sweet Dreams with sentiment "Kiss of the Sun". The bright buttons are from the Fiesta button collection. I have also used my SU Photo corner punch. The flower and metal button were from my stash and I have added a waxed cotton bow to finish.

Be sure to check out the inspirational samples from the rest of the gang!

Have a great Monday! Mines a boring one with household chores, grocery shopping and ... oh no.. the dentist! gulp!
